Alamo Area School Maintenance, Operations & Construction Association
Who We Are:
AASMOCA members are professionally engaged in maintenance, operations and construction activities primarily at school districts in the San Antonio area. Active members are required to be affiliated with a School, School District, University or College. Associate members generally consist of those directly associated with or concerned with the aims and objectives of the Association.
What We Do:
Although our Constitution lists a number of specific items, the main mission is to meet and share our experience and expertise with other members. We also share our wealth by awarding scholarships to deserving applicants that need assistance to attend a recognized educational, vocational/technical or Trade school.
When/Where We Do It:
AASMOCA members meet nine times a year at locations hosted by members and associate members. The morning meetings start with a half hour coffee/social meet and greet period, brief AASMOCA business period and an educational period with presentations selected by the executive committee. The meetings are usually held the third Wednesday of the month. Please see the calendar for information on our next meeting.
Why This Site?
The site is being developed to promote the sharing part of our mission. Besides posting meeting dates to the calendar, we will add useful links and other information on the site that will assist our members with technical, regulatory and "best methods" issues.
